Create your own winter wonderland with paper snowflakes! Join us at The Forge and let your creativity guide you as you fold and cut your way to a unique and original design. Whether you want to follow a pattern or create your own, this classic winter activity is the perfect way to be creative and have fun! Come along and let your imagination soar — we can’t wait to see what you design!

Tools used in this challenge include paper, scissors and patterns for inspiration.

This challenge will be held daily between 10 a.m.–Noon and 3:30–5 p.m. everyday in December except for the following dates: December 1, 2, 8, 9 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31.

About Maker Challenges

Stop by The Forge anytime during Maker Challenge hours! No registration is required and you can stay for 15 minutes or the full 2 hours!

Maker Challenges are included with Science Museum admission and are designed for learners of all ages. Use your creativity and critical thinking skills to build solutions to fun challenges! New and different challenges happen each month.

Advance registration is not required, but space is limited to 25 participants at a time. All participants must be at least 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
