Spark Curiosity this Summer

Keep your future scientists, engineers and paleontologists engaged and entertained this summer. Science Museum summer camps provide hours of discovery, wonder and hands-on experiences you just can’t get anywhere else.

Like good scientists, we’re always learning! This year, we’ve added new themes, enhanced STEM activities and updated procedures to ensure everyone’s experience is out of this world.

  • Camp is open to children ages 6–12. Campers are divided into two 30-person groups each week (ages 6–8 and ages 9–12) so we can tailor activities appropriately.
  • Camps include opportunities to explore Science Museum exhibitions, watch films in The Dome and participate in a variety of interactive science programs.
  • For caregivers who need full-day coverage, the Science Museum offers early drop off at 8:30 a.m. and late pickup at 5:30 p.m. to help make camp work for a variety of schedules.
  • We’re offering nine weeks of camp starting June 9 and ending the week of August 4. There are five different content themes with four camps being offered twice.

Check out our weekly camp themes below. Your curious kiddos can join us for one camp or one of each theme.

Keep scrolling to the bottom of the page for additional camp details.

Summer Camp registration opens January 27 at 9 a.m.

Waitlist
Summer camps are popular and fill up quickly. Spots are first come, first served.

If the camp you would like to attend is sold out, please submit a request to be added to the waitlist. Please note: the waitlist form will not open until registration opens on January 27 at 9 a.m.

If a camp spot opens, we will first email all Science Museum members on the waitlist at the same time. If the spot remains open after 24 hours, we will email the rest of the waitlist. We will do this any time a spot opens in a camp.

Scholarships
The Science Museum is pleased to offer a limited number of weekly summer camp scholarships to its Museums for All member families only. If you are a current Museums for All member and would like to learn more about summer camp scholarships, please check back.

Please note: The Science Museum will only accept scholarship applications February 10–23. The application for scholarships does not open at the same time as regular summer camp registration. Details about summer camp scholarships will be emailed to Museums for All members.

New for 2025

To give even more future scientists in our community the opportunity to experience the fun, we’re limiting campers to attending five weeks of camp.
