Generate ideas, build problem-solving skills and tap into the inner inventor!
Makers gonna make! Campers will harness their creativity to generate ideas and tap into their inner inventor during this week of innovation and iteration. Campers will take over The Forge, our makerspace, to explore a variety of processes and learn how to use new tools. Projects will include woodworking, sewing, electronics and more. Campers should come ready to prototype, test and, most importantly, have fun!
Pricing
Five-day summer camps cost $350 for members and $400 for non-members.
Camp fees include a daily snack, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to help energize them for our scientific adventures.
Schedule
Five-day summer camps will be held from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday–Friday. Drop off opens at 8:30 a.m.
To help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules, after-camp care is available until 5:30 p.m. for $50 per week, per child. Families must register for after-camp care prior to using this service.
Waitlist
Summer camps are popular and fill up very quickly. If the camp you would like to attend is sold out, you can be added to the waitlist. If a camp spot opens, we will first email all Science Museum members on the waitlist at the same time. If the spot remains open after 24 hours, we will email the rest of the waitlist. We will do this any time a spot opens in a camp.
Scholarships
The Science Museum is pleased to offer a limited number of weekly summer camp scholarships to its current Museums for All member families. Learn more about summer camp scholarships and submit an application.
